if you get a double flash once your cars past the white markings on the road are you fucked

Yes. It takes two pictures to calculate how far you travelled between them and therfefore your speed. You're fucked mate.

well was at 40 on the white lines bit, then as soon as i cleared them, accelarated to err 50 when it flashed twice

They will know your speeding but not how fast you was going? So if it went to court and they could'nt prove your actual speed? You would be ok??

the white lines are not needed for the camera to detect your speed but they are used to verify the camera was correct should it go to court. Possibly they may still try to prosecute you but with no white lines to verify your speed you would probably get off.

That said, mobile cameras often are used where there arent any white lines.

i ewnt through a camera the other night in the worng direction and i made it flash. the camera was head on to me. i dont htink they can do u that way. but if u went through it and it flashed twice to the back of ur car id say it has got you mate. let us know how you get off.
