Long Wave Radio...Atlantic 252.....Anyone Remember....?
i used to listen to this all the time when i was younger...teens.. I loved it, was very repetitive but it played the songs i liked at the time. I always wished it was in FM tho 
Does anyone remember it and more to the point what happened to it? It was the other day i was sick of flicking form channel to channel on FM i put Virgin on...nowt on there so i put LW and some reason LW radio Atlantic 252 popped in my head. Tuned in and its some dull irish radio or something...sounded like it was being broadcast from the moon it was BAD...
Anyone know?
Had Djs like: Rick 'o' Shay(spl) etc

Just found a Tribute site! It was Massive i remember the phone calls to people every hour for them to win cash etc....
Didnt realise that a lot of the DJs i still listen to on other stations!

Who remembers when you could tune into the police on your normal radio??
if you listened in you used to shit yourself thinking the police would catch you listening and come and get you...lol

pity they changed to digital.....a mate had a scanner logged onto all the channels
before that pesky helecopter turned up
actually had the hele band number for a while then it died
there not stupid ..but theres always a way around it
