My best mate is having a very bizarre time at the moment. He's been with the same woman for 10 years and he's seriously contemplating chucking it in. He's had enough, he wants out, but he's worried about losing his house and having to move back in with his Mum again, he's pretty fiercely independent and that would be a big blow to his pride.

Problem 1: He was having an affair with a girl he worked with. Now she's very pretty and if any bloke saw her in a club, they'd be well keen to have a go. The problem is, she seems to like messing him around and having him jump through hoops for her. When they first started seeing each other she was really keen on him. One night they went to the pub with some other work colleagues and they had a game of truth or dare. Now Ants said truth a few times and ended up saying some fairly harmless stuff about what he'd gotten upto in his past, way before he met this girl. She, apparently, went mad and sent him a text the next day saying she didn't ever want to speak to him again as he wasn't trustworthy and she had no respect for him. OK, her choice.

2 days later she texts him saying she misses him and that she was wrong and starts spouting all this stuff about how they are meant to be together and she can see them married with kids. He's over the moon, thinking he may be able to have a future with her. Hence, she starts dicking him about again, saying she wants space, needs time, not sure if she loves him, blah blah blah.

Late night, she starts sending texts to him about what she wants him to do to her and sends pics of herself to him (leave that to your imagination ). Needless to say, he's really keen. Next day she blanks him again.

This just seems to be a recurring theme. He told her to get lost last night and leave him alone (Hooray). She sends a text today saying she loves him, wants to marry him and can't bear to be away from him. He's fooked in the head again, and he doesn't know what to do.

I've told him to ditch this mad psycho and concentrate on what he wants to do on his current relationship, but he's like "Oh she doesn't mean it, she's really sweet when were alone". He will not take it that shes stringing him along.

I'd appreciate any advice on how to help him, or if anyone knows anyone who's single in the Teesside area who'd like to take this mad bint on, drop me a PM.

It sounds like the house is in joint names and hes worried his infidelity will cause him to loose it. Well IMHO Tough! You cant have your cake and eat it! You can be sure if it was the other way round he'd want her out if the house as a forfeit.

I've been there myself (I was single though) and it took me 6 months to realise i was just a lapdog for when it suited her.
