Default Tyre choice Q - Pirrelli P-Zero Nero?

Probably too many r's or l's in Pirrelli but who's counting
I needed a pair of tyres for the Cossie before the morning as we are setting off for Cumbria then and my fronts are shagged! The only ones i could get this afternoon are the above. Never used them myself but can anyone, that has, tell me if they are ok?
Cheers Spadge...

Can you call into somewhere enroute ?

Place I use in Warrington close to the motorway would possibly have them but they close at 12.15

It would be on your way up in the morning Spadge.

Thats all I could find Bill - I'm ideally after something a little more aggressive than the Exalto's Hankooks and Fulda's without going as nuts as the R888's

I guess there's not many cars using 205x50x15's thesedays Neil. The Fulda is meant to be quite a good tyre according to my local tyre place. Are they for your Cossie or something else?

Cheers lads!!

Looks like I might have to fit 17's or go with 888's

The only other thing I can get are T1-R's, and I don't fancy them after reading up on them!

You're right, but they come in handy for track days.

Got 2 Fuldas, 2 Yoko somethingorothers and 2 Colway cut slicks that are bloody fantastic on track!

Neil S - I can help you with your tyre problem!

205/50/15s are a speciality - we get asked for these a lot by Cossie owners.

R888s - can get them for Ł70 a corner (Ł85 from Blackcircles )

T1-s (NOT T1Rs) - can get them for Ł60 a corner

From personal experience T1s are ideal as road tyres, R888s, while ACE on track also work fine in the dry or damp - only in standing water are they actually a problem on the road.

Hope this helps you a bit? Can also get other brands if there's something different you fancy?

Simon - Can you PM me what you can get?

I'm interested in T1-S's for sure, can you get Yoko AVS or Michelin Pilot Sport's, or (fanfare!) Eagle F1's?

Cheers!!!!
