Hi all im toying with the idea of getting a SECS MONITOR for my 4x4 saphy in august but can u explain what it is and what it does also how easy is it to fit and how much(roughly) to have it proffessionly installed??, also some pics of the monitor fitted where the digital clock fits(below center vents) if u could be so kind??, Many thanks all.....

Hi Paul

I got mine off Mike Rainbird, i had it installed by someone he knew and was 20quid. It displays RPM, Coolant temp, ACT temp, - & + boost in BAR, accelerator 0-100%, battery voltage.

Mine is installed where the clock once was.

one of the best things i have fitted to my car Paul.

piss easy to fit,all you have to do is join wires up to your loom,all instructions and illustrations are with it.

they do sound very good will i need external guages or will the SECS do, also what looks best stadard or blue monitor????? any pics

don't think you will need external gauges as the monitor does the main ones.

could fit a oil pressure/temp one.

Deffo the green one for the saff as the dash lights up green anyway.

better than fitting gauges and look better imo.

Come to the swindon Pub meet and you can see mine.

The only down side is there is no oil pressure

costina--- have been to swindon meet once mate and now my bloody shift pattern has changed and ive now gt to work every tuesday , so i cant make any of the meets but can i meet up with u sometime to have a look??, btw its garys (G2 FSR)4x4 that ive got
