f*%$in nomad arrggghhhh!!
god damn im so pissed off!!!
been waitin fookin ages for my new header tank to arrive and also my oil temp gauge so i can fit them both while the new turbo went in.
both arrived today....header tank brackets are at the wrong angle to bodywork so sits funny but no overly bothered about that as im gonna stick some rubber washers under it to level it out.
what i am bothered about is the frickin temp gauge.....got the sump plug adapter from nomad a while back having been assured it would allow me to fit the autometer sender in the sump.
just tried it and guess what, the sender dont fit in nomads "adapter"
ffs been waitin ages for this and now im gonna have to put the original plug back in and forget about the gauge. And i aint wastin another £30 on oil if i do manage to get the correct adapter.
all in all well pissed off, couldve had the car runnin ages ago if it werent for waiting for parts that when they finally turn up they dont fit

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Bugger. If it helps though, I have fitted my sump adapter without draining the oil - you just have to be quick. Just make sure the oil is cold so you don't burn yourself.
Make sure the area around sump is clean, and that you have a clean container. If you do spill oil, there is nothing stopping you putting it back in
