it can be blanked yes but this depends what you plan to do with the phase sensor. the coipack conversion still needs the phase input, this can be run off the dizzy as before or taken from the cam.....

not my car, mine runs the coilpacks but has the phase off the dizzy still. these pics are work done by zoo motorsport - http://www.zoomotorsport.co.uk/

Only if the phase sensor is relocated to the end of the inlet cam it is, otherwise it stays there to keep the phase sensor spinning

is that a standard part nick?
would one replace a standard 2wd item in my 200 block?
would neaten it up a little as i still have the dizzy cap on to keep the phase sensor sealed from water!

you can't use a small turbo escort phase sensor on a weber system,,, not without a converter inline! and the small turbo sensor has a 180 degree stricker, the normal cossie has two striker plates 90 degrees appart

ones hall effect the others inductive

i still have my dizzy in place for the phase.. never bother about removing it as it works fine..

take it i could remove it and fit a the sensor on the rocker or use the small turbo one without conversion if on autronic?

any advantages to these set ups over the normal dizzy?
