i use a soft foam mop with g10 on a pro buffer. this will rid of any swirlmarks. Then just use a wax or sealant and job done

Yeah, you will need a 110v transformer, extension, and plug.
This will set you back about £50 from screwfix.

I use mine at varios speeds.

Nothing better tbh, we use a cylco twin orbital buffer were I work but thats only one speed and cant get in small areas like the pc and is also heavier.

I got the sonus fx pad kit.

hope this helps.

Thats the confusing thing, they're all SFX pads...

These ones?
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-sfxpad-kit.html

But would you use the SFX-1, as its more aggressive than the SFX-2, therefore not needed/recommended as much?

I would of thought the SFX-2 and the SFX-3 pads would be the ones commonly used?
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/sonussfxpads.html

or would you use it as the following:
* SFX-2 for Polishing
* SFX-3 for Pre-Wax
* Sonus Das Bonnet for buffing off the wax (I would apply the Carnuaba Wax by hand, as its intended to)

I just phoned Zymol ...www.zdouk.com 0845 226 6929
and they said:

1. Degrease
2. Wash or Wash
3. HD Cleanse
4. Clay
5. Wax

...said Polish is not needed !!

Havent found a top coat yet, that i'm happy with, to use after nxt wax, on a black car??? any suggestions?

Mate of mine with a Black Evo swears by this stuff.

And no that is not his car on the site

We both used to use Meguires but noticed that you cannot use it on the bonnet as it leaves swirl marks that are a nightmare to remove.

Believe the Porter Cable is the answer to both these questions!

However I will see in my own regime how much I will use the Porter Cable, as if I get the Zymol HD Cleanse, it is ideal to be used by hand with a pre-applicator pad. Not sure if a polish is then required.

Haven't used Zymol (only Swissol) but believe the basic components are very similar.

They both use natural products wich are far less harsh than chemicals, and no, you don't need to polish after the cleansing stage. It leaves a really smooth surface and richens the paint colour/shine prior to protecting with a high quality wax.

I also think the correct order is (or maybe Zymol's process is different)?:

Clean/wash car
Claybar (to remove contaminants such as diesel fallout, tree sap etc.)
Cleanse
Wax

I say this as the cleansing stage removes any slight residue, left over from the clay bar stage.

Cleaned a mate's red Golf GTi wich was in a sorry state - he used to use washing up liquid to wash the car and then let it dry in the sun Result = one pink Golf!

The finished results were truly awesome - it was genuinely like it had just been resprayed, with a rich and vibrant red as it should have been.
