OK, i rememebr seeing a film, but i cant rememebr that it was called or EXACTLY what happened.

somthing happened and dragons were awakened from somewhere or other

the dragons then destroyed 99% of the planet.

its thena bit mad max stylee with small groups of people fighting for survival in their little villages etc, but then all of a sudden some kind of elite specops "anti-dragon" unit appears out of nowhere to save thisone village, people sykdiving out of choppers and capturing them etc.

something goes wrong, specops unit dies, then i asusme the "poor old villagers" magange to kill the fragons all on their own (but cant remember exatly)

sure its fairly modern and not a complete B movie, the sort of thing you get of NTL tv on demand.. lol it'll be late 90s early 00s
