My new car, RUNABOUT, what does everyone else use????
Just picked up my new car this afternoon, brand spanking new Fiat punto, got an excellent deal on it, sick of spending money on cheap shitters so i thought i'd get something decent with a warranty and free servicing etc....
Ł5688, brand new, it's just a 1.2 active, it has alloys colour coded bumpers electric windows etc... so it's not the bottom of the range either, could do ALOT worse i reckon. I'll get some pics up just to make this post a bit more interesting..

Good cars the Punto's. We've had them all, Fiesta's, Corsa's, Polo's, and IMO nobody makes small cars better than Fiat.
We got rid of Donna's Punto 1.2 ELX in January for a Clio. I really wish we still hadn't, the Clio does absolute nothing for me, very bland and slow. Fiat was very nippy and had all the toys. I'm already thinking of getting rid of the Clio and going for a Punto Grande. One of the girls at work just got one and I'm very impressed.
Me???
I drive a 2.0GLS Vectra, don't like that either, and the S1 is still off the road, not really enjoying driving the now.

I run around in a '89 1.2 vauxhall nova, got given to me by a mate that needed the space, has 64k on it and costs me bugger all to run and I've had 120 out of it lol. Plus costing me next to nothing to run it's more money to throw at the S2.

seeing as we have a courtesy car ever other week, the best one we've had has to be the punto
the corsa was a bit crap
we had one of them kia rio things, which was totaly crap
a mitubishi small thing, which was big inside and everything, but a bit to wierd to look at
a few fiesta's (best car all round other than the fuel consuption)
one of them little toyota things (65 mpg around town!!!!!! crikey!!!!) yaris i think? but the dash it absolute pants
a few years ago we had a fleet of 106 diesels, and what you could do with them was just illegal but they had no toys whatsoever
the punto even had air con and an auto box and still returned around the 52mpg mark on a run at 80, and the best gadget of all, electric button steering
