If you sold your FORD car did you miss it ?
Sold my escort cossie nearly 2 months ago and I can honestly say
I dont miss it ..... Something I thought I would never say
Owned the car for over 9 years (and had 4 engine rebuilds )
Dont miss the huge fuel bills, the constant cleaning of it,
the cost and time spent fixing it, and the cost of insurance,
worring about where it is parked... etc..
Maybe in a few months time things will be different and I must admit
I have been tempted by an EVO ...
Anyone else feel the same ?

Sold my 2wd stage3 saph and i honestly dont miss it 1 bit, the cons out weighted the pro's 10-1 compared to my new car.
Cossie was costing 1k tptf to insure, my integra Ł1000 fully comp
i now get 180 miles to Ł25 of optimax where in the cossie i used to get 100 ish
The fact that in 70% of road conditions the cosworth was a pig to drive fast and the teg is a dream even in the wet
And the main reason i got rid of it was reliability, the cossie never let me down apart from 1 head gasket after 10k miles on a rebuild , but there is always that thought of "is it going to blow up" every time i thrashed it, where as the teg i thrash the knackers off it and KNOW it will cope
So in a nutshell do i fook miss the cosworth

Ive had mine for 13 years and I used to think I would miss it loads but realised its just the performance I would miss unless I get a new fast car that is. But since I cant afford a good replacement im sticking with my old taxi.

EsCos...
No not really to be honest. Couldn't be bothered to keep it clean anymore. And after all that money and time spent on the car, we didn't want to ruin (spelling? ) it by using it as a daily drive. The Focus was the best choice and I don't regret it.
Sierra Cos 4x4...
Yes, still miss it. Biggest mistake we ever made

they can be a pain but couldnt see me in anything else-cant explain why-its just the way i am!
owned an evo 4 for 16 hrs,8 of those were sleep, part exchanged it the next day for an escos-there again didnt really like that so went back to what i like best-2wd cossies.
im a bit wary of having a go in a decent power skyline as im scared i may want one!
ive had m3's,early evo's,subarus etc and they just dont do it for me.

miss it
I have sold a few fords and I have missed them, but I just replaced them with something better, i had a crack at selling my saff towards the end of last year no luck and was looking to buy an evo, different venture for me there as I have always driven the blue oval, if i got an evo if would have been the same quest like i've had in my cossie more horsies, big brakes, fat turbo and I asked myself where does it end? and to be honest if i had all of the Ł notes that I have spent on cars since buying my first one aged 13 i'd be kin loaded, other people have asked me when am I gonna grow up I guess never

space hoppers,
Hope to see Spence over the next few days and I will fill him in and
I am sure he will tell you.
Cant make it public as I am sure there are those on here who would
stick there nose in and deliberately try to sabotage it.
