What you say about BMW is apparently true.No major problems with mine. Just had a rear suspension spring let go but that's fairly common too. I've had a diff but really only because I asked the dealer to do it, as I wasn't 100% sure the diff was ok before a trackday.
They're pretty solid cars (mines done around 8,000 on track).

The other pic above is Rosco. That car has KW3 suspension modifications.
