Depends if you wanna screw it and fook it up. If so, buy a S2. If you is gonna look after it and can afford one and have a garage, S1 all the way. You can have mine for £10. . .





The keys and countless alarm and immobilizer fobs will cost you £5990 though

I would definately choose the S1. Ive got an S1 RS1600i rep, its still in pieces but i love it every time i see it, can't wait to get it running

i've got a s1 that i use as a every day car that i'm sorting out as i go
along. it's nice car that turn's head's but for a every day car i prefered
my old s2

S1. Makes the S2 look as dull as shit.

Had an S1 pre Cossie (11 years ago) nice car, but not a patch on the 1.9 205 GTI I had before it. In standard form S1's don't handle or brake very well at all, and they are not very quick, so I imagine the S2 is even worse.
Before you get all defensive peeps I said in STANDARD form.
I'd definitely try and find a good S1, or even better a good 205, much more fun.

205 gti's are fun but again not a car i would like to use every day

my s2 handled very well easy to predict the s1 i got now has koni
suspension polybushed but does not handle no where near as well
as my s2 which was standard

dont get me wrong it's a lot of fun it's very easy to get the back end
to slide out at a nice angle but it really is way to easy!
