bought some cheap 2nd hand g-max springs off someone out the bargain pages. They was only on the car for around 6 months and as you can see from the pic they are in quite good nick.



Now, looking on the net, the model printed on the springs is "30-FO-05" and by doing a search on this, it seems like they could be a 30mm drop but most shops only advertise either a 20mm or a 40mm?

I know these springs are not an ideal set-up, but they only cost me £25 for the 4 and I thought they will do until I can get a full Koni kit.

I will be using standard shock absorbers.

Will these springs give me a decent ride height, as its completely standard at the moment.

wow that looks like a nice standard s2!!

they are indeed a 30mm drop, which is a little low but see how it goes, some people do a 40/50mm drop i think!

think it does need lowering quite a bit, although 3 cm doesnt seem much, i suppose until u get them on the car
