F**king Travel Agents.....:mad:
Ages ago we booked a holiday and looked at 2 possible airports for the flights. We had 2 choices.
1. Norwich Airport. 5 mins away.
2. Stansted. 1.5 hours away.
We actually chose Stansted because the flight times were so much more favourable. The Norwich flights meant that we would arrive at our destination at tea-time on a day that we have paid for and will have flown out on our return by 7.00am, again on a day that we have paid for. What a f**king scandal. We would then only actually really have 5 days instead of 7.
Anyway, with only a few weeks left until we go, the Travel Agent has just annouced that our flight times have been changed and they are now no better than the Norwich ones. So, we are having to drive to Stansted, pay for a weeks Car-parking etc with NO benefit.
I cannot believe that Travel Agents can be allowed to charge you for a day where you will have left the country by 7.00am? I know it's common, but it makes me fooking mad.
We are too late to cancel and all the Norwich flights are now full, so we can't even change it!
It's as much of a rip-off as being charged a supplement for 2 adults to stay in a room that is based on 3 adults sharing. It's just a way of making more money, its obvious that very rarely do 3 adults share. Why is EVERYONE out for what they can get?
