My mates giving me a PS2 thats been chipped but has stopped playing games (copy and original) it plays DVDs and music cds. It played copies for months before stopping. Any ideas? laser need cleaning? or changing?

NOT often but CAN happen all depends on who done it and how well they soldered it

 

Will have to have a look buddie

 

usually lasers on ps2, they aint the best, may just need re aligning though, done a few lasers on mine, then got xbox and no problems with that for over 3 years
