Meguiars help!! Quick!!
I need some polish for the RS. I used to use Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. I ditched the EGP for Meguiars Gold Class and now want to replace the Super Resin Polish with the Meguiars equivalent. What is it??
I want something that has polishing (light cutting) ability. Not as harsh as T-Cut though.

It's not really messy, will take a while, but the results are well worth it. The claybar removes contaminants (diesel fallout, sap etc) from the paintwork, leaving it really smooth and clean, prior to waxing.
As with painting a car, preparation is important for good results.

i sell the stuff and althouh autoglym is good meguias is so much better.
the equivalent to super resin will be cleaner wax.very fine cutting agent in a protective wax. for best results the clay to start, cleaner wax, step 2 deep crystal polish(which deepens the paint colour.) then nxt gen tech wax.
if using the clay make sure iti isnt a old day. you have to make sure he clay can stay supple or you could scratch paint.warmish days stop this.
with nxt gen tech wax 2 thin coats are better than 1 thick coat.
hope this helps

How come this re-appeared??!!
I went to Halfords and no-one in there knew what they were talking about. I hoped that they might be able to tell me which one I needed. I actually bought. I think, the Step 2 polish. Can't remember exactly. But it was shite anyway. So I took it back and got a big bottle of Super Resin Polish. I thought it best to 'go for what I know'!!

So, how come when I reverted back to the SRP, I was pleased with the results then? I imagine that I had the wrong product more than the fact that it was shite. As I was happy with the performance of the Super Resin Polish, I just merely wanted to change brands, it was hard to know which one was right!!

In simple terms :
SRP = One application 'All in one'
Step 2 polish = As in name STEP 2 (from a three stage process)
At a minimum the step 2 neads sealing in with a good wax (with no cleaners) i.e. NXT or SRP over step 2 = step 2 completely removed.
and remember that a crap wax on a well preped surface will look far better than a top wax on a badly preped surface.
Although most of my stuff is megs pro range if your applying to the white turbo in your sig and you dont want to throw a full day at it - stick with SRP
