HELP...ROVER 420 TURBO DIESEL QUESTION????.........
Hello all ive got a rover 420sdi turbo diesel on a 97 p plate the car has a good amount of power and gobbles of torque but heres my question......
the car since last night has been great then today drove back from my parents house in dorset and the car has no power, the fuel consumption is the same (around 50mpg) theres no problems starting/idling etc, and theres no unusual noises etc also theres no smoke fro the exhaust throughout the whole rev rangeetc, basically it feels like there is no boost the car was last serviced 12k miles ago so im gona service it tomorrow but could the turbo be fcuked???? or something thats siezed ie boost control etc??, is the boost controlled va the ecu or is it on an actuator like an rst/cossie?? HELP PLEASE

Yeah ,that's what I was going to suggest ! Just check all the flexible pipes on the pressure side of the turbo................... Feel very flat when that happens, don't they ??
