Default Anyone In the know regarding MOT Certificates

Right Im selling a car that is taxed and MOT'd, only problem is I have lost the MOT certificate, I know for a fact that its still got shitloads of MOT left on it as I only taxed it recently

Only problem is, It was MOT'd before I bought it and it was bought off ebay but outside of auction so no feedback was left by each other and I cant for the life of me remember the guys username so I dont know what garage it was MOT'd at.

Anyone know if I can obtain a duplicate just by producing the Logbook etc at any MOT testing station or does it have to be at the station who tested if in which case im fucked lol

Any help appreciated

If you did 'the deal' off e-bay,did you not e-mail each other ?? If so,you'll have his/her e-mail address........

Oh and you can only get replacement MoT certs, from the original testing garage......

If not its hunt the original garage out, or just get it re-mot'd

As said you have to go to the MOT station which issued it,but if it has loads on it then it should pass another MOT no problem to a certain degree........................... And if its the new computer one then DVLA should have a record of that vehicle and which station as there all linked on the computer system now.
