I still don't understand why you're killing yourself financially to replicate a car like that that on such a tight budget.

Everyone goes mental over that 1.3L badged Escort with the Cossie lump as it's different.

Personally, I don't "get" the stripped, caged and bucketed interior, unles you're actually going to track it, in which case, having a mit replica is kind of pointless as the paintwork will probably get ruined.

I would say a north/south zetec turbo into a 3dr is pretty innovative (although it won't be the first in the world ) and there ain't nowt wrong with 3dr reps (where are you Chip) if they are done well.
