Been to a few nice workshops on my travels including Williams F1 and this
place is much nicer, got everything, its new Bmw @ Loughton

Don't need a drawer for each tool for that if you put them away where they're supposed to go when you finish you know where they are biggest problem is usually OTHER PEOPLE !!!!

yea james, new bmw in loughton essex mate, spot on innit, in fact the whole dealership is bling, the guy has had a few built to that spec now

Whats that all about then? just the bloke who owns that franchise wants to do everything properly or is it a international bmw standard that they must all look like that or what?

I know my local BMW dealer refused all the Wurth racking & shelving after it was custom made simply because it was red and didn't fit in with the black toolboxes in the workshop!

would i be right in thinking the dealer supplys the toolbox? & tools?

they have put the building up in no time. looks cool from the outside too

Rob - it's not the new building gone up by the new Higgins building is it? I know a new building has gone up there... I know Langston Rd well as we do a fair few jobs there (mainly for Higgins, but also for Abridge VW and the Bank of England just down that road, plus there's an industrial park there aswell and we do a lot of jobs for ADT in there)

its right on the corner of langstone when you turn in thrush, nearly opposite vw i think.


James, weve worked on 3 of these dealerships now mate and they all this spec, as far as i know he builds then to bmw spec. The site agent told me
the guys an american millionare and builds these dealerships and rents them to bmw but not sure its true.

im a techie for bmw and our group has just been bought out by the american group SYTNER.we are having a brand new purpose built workshop and aftersales place.should look like it does above.we already have those ramps and the tiled floor but we will be having built in toolboxes aswell!one of the most recent builds by sytner is at high wycombe.can see pics here http://www.sytnerhighwycombebmw.co.uk/aboutus/

No mate i work with the contractor who built the place, worked on some nice dealerships with them including the Porsche HQ @ Reading, Williams F1 in wantage & Mclaren

Matt ifur avin a new one good chance ill be there in the near future
