anyone know if tom tom comes with maps of the republic of ireland, or do you have to buy them??

my dad wants one for his bday, and wants to use it round ireland?

like st3 says, i don't think the rest or ireland has been mapped.
i just shelled out over £100 quid on the complete maps of europe (7 cd's), to make the ring trip this week easier
i couldn't get pirates because my tomtom 'one' needs registration codes which it verifies on the tomtom website, although i think the people with pda's and phones may get away with it?

 

PLEASE do not bring Jane with us Sean, she has issue's and doesn't like me

 

my tomtom700 came with the whole of europe on it anyway.

 

tom tom one only came with UK.


Somebody posted a download link on here before, had all maps, poi's ... everything for free
