Tyres for a rst.
i've always used yok 539's,
and was wondering if there is a better option in same price range.
its for my xr2tt, using 195/45/15's. the cars a everyday car, so grip/wear and price comes into it.
and best place to order them from?
Any advice is very welcome,
Thanks Danny

always felt like it was going to rip the gearbox out with the grip compared to the shite i had on it before

I've heard this argument a 100 times, R's are shit, S's are shit. This is a comment about the Toyo S
"These were very good tires for the first 10,000km. After that they became the worst tire I ever had. This has been my third experience like this Toyo tires. I think I have finally learned."
Dry Wet Snow Handling Comfort Noise Treadwear
3 1 1 1 3 3 1 "
Exactly what Dingy says about R's. I run R's and have no problem with them. Maybe lucky, maybe not

IMO Goodyear F1's are an excellent tyre, i wont use anything else
They are the best tyre i have used for grip in the wet, they also as good as any other road tyre in the dry. My F1's on the RST have handled 4 track days and about 4000 miles of hard road miles and are about 3/4 worn. TBH i think the grip gets better the more they wear but i do drive it VERY hard on track and quick on the road.
I also run F1's on my everyday ST170 and so far they have done 12,500 miles and 1 track day and 5x 130mph - 30mph stops. They are down to 3.5 mm of tread now so all in all i love them
