tough job ,fair play . but do you want to get out of it and give up on it.
Thats what you need to decide
how the hell did he get your address anyhow

Then im afraid you will have to pack in if thats how you feel .
The getting paid bit is erelavent in my oppinion .
You either stay or go ,cant see it being a works problem to be honest

i have raised my concern's about this boy and what he has been doing for the past 6 weeks, he has made threat to harm, rape, etc,
but surely after he has broke into my house they cant expect me to work with him and care for him?

you leaving wont solve anything, just leave you more exposed as you wont have contact with your workplace.
can you get professional advice yourself, as you are the victim in this.
as said, involve the police, make official complaints, make it hard for your employer to let the situation carry on.
Does the place you work for not have proceedures with dealing with this kind of situation, its clearly unacceptable.

I would go to the police about the continuous threats.
F**k the home and their 3K, you are worth more than that. As mentioned by Cliff, he still knows where you live and what's to stop him doing it again, or worse, carrying out his threats?
Not meaning to scare you but it's true!
You say he's told the police that he did it? What are they doing about it?
Is he special needs or just f***ed up?
You may have to even move if he continues to threaten you! I'm sure it is the works concern if he's been threatening you and you've reported it and they've ignored it or tried to coerce you into silence, making you feel like you're over reacting and it's all part of the job!
My 2 pence.
Here's a hug for you anyway, must be hell!!!

definite police matter.. if you leave.. he still has your address and he would probably just do it to some other poor bugger..
keep a diary of all incidents and continue to report it to the police until some sort of action is taken.. or speak to your employers about having him transferred possibly? but again, he still has your address..
this matter need dealing with quickly petal.. things like this just get worse.. and they get worse quick.. good luck with it.. i hope you dont have to leave you job because of some kid with problems.

Completely agree with most of the comments.
I would also add that life is too short for that kind of aggro. Is there any chance that you can find a job in a similar field elsewhere?
I know that may not be the point, but at the end of the day, anything else that happens (short of him being locked up for several years) will probably result in being a short-term fix only. Better to get away from it, and let somebody else worry about it.

btw.. i will just add to my little input..
you employers legally owe you a duty of care.. how did this kid get your address? why hasnt anything been done in the past?..
they have breached their own code of conduct if you like.. speak to your employers.. tell them this and tell them you want some sort of explanation/settlement/compensation or whatever you like or you will pursue the matter..
they should take these things seriously and im sure they know that.. corner them and put the shits right up them.. i would

ste f is quite correct all employers have a duty of care to employees in hse law. it is clearly there fault this has happened and you need to put the onus on them to resolve it. you need to involve the police who will point out the error of the employers ways to them, making your task easier.

just given statement he gettin interviewed this afternoon,
as for finding my address he used to hang around my area with his friends, seen my car etc, and another y/p plays football in field at the top off my road, but he knows all addresses for all staff
he is on bail for playing with himself in a park in front of a lady,
from what i can gather from my manager he tryin to blame me for how he knows where i live, and i dont think he is goin to do anythin,
but why should i be made to work knowin that he has broken into my house gone through my things,

That the problem ..... waiting to happen and until summit actually happens he hasn't actually committed an offence...
My mother in law was in a similar situation, her boyfriend had "said" he would kill her and the police couldn't do a thing..... until he had strangled her to death and then they locked him up...
