Hi im new

Hi

In need of a little help im looking to buy an escort rs turbo s2 90 spec

What do i need to look out for and what will i get for about 3K

cheers peeps for th advice hopefull i get one soon i used to have saph cossie 4x4 but had to sell after missus gave birth hope back with a ford soon

Welcome & enjoy, just look out for rust i.e battery tray & the usual places like whell arches etc, check for any old sounds coming from the engine bay, smoke, try & get it up on a ramp if you can, hope this helps

as said check for rust on battery tray, fusebox, arches, sills, chassis rails. Also high pitched turbo or knocking in the engine walk away

welcome mate, as said really, from back to front the lines of the car will show any shoddy repairs if out or possible crash damage, try and get one thats had alot spent on it and the jobs done such as pannels ect 3k should get you a nice one
