how else would they know what sort of power you were getting?
if one set is spinning faster than the other then you are looking (in the fords anyway) at a no runner on the rollers because it'll blow the viscous to bits, don't know what the porch will do but there may have to be a way to disable the system electronicly if this is going to cause a problem, not that i think it will because on the road all the wheels are supposed to turn at the same speed aren't they

Not sure if this is allowed here, but how about we run a little sweep stake on this ?
To make it fair on everyone, it's not about who's got the most powerful car, but who can guess to the nearest bhp what their car will do on the rollers
Those who've been before (on those rollers) can't enter though, that would be cheating.
Nearest takes all, split amongs winners if there are two/three/etc...
£1 for a stake ?
