Boost/Actuator question
Trying to set the boost on stage 1 saph. set the preload on it, half moon, that should be about a bar. However, its boosting over 20 and thats only going up to about 4.5rpm before backing off cos its way too much
god knows what it would be if i floored it
even if i turn it down more it still boosts the same.
Now, would that be indicative of a fucked actuator? or am i being a pleb?

are the vacuum hoses the right way around on the amal valve unwind the actuator arm if that don't work then I would join the vacuum pipe from the compressor housing to actuator and go from ther to see if the amal valve is at fault
Im 99.9% sure the hoses are right. If it runs properly with the vacuum pipe from compressor housing attached to actuator does that mean the amal valve is faulty then?
thanks
and no, its not got a bleed valve on it.

its the same amal valve ive run on it for ages. cars just been off the road for a while and since its been back ive not been able to set the boost right.
Will give it a go with the amal valve disconnected though
