What car are you asking about?

If it's something obscure, then that's why you might not get a lot of repsonses..........

ok,...first off,...rotate the universal fan-dangle counter clockwise, then scare a koala bear,...but be very careful that it is a koala and not an indian elephant,...next, remove the spoon from the badger, then refit using a small iguana.....that should sort it out,..

same happened on mine,.....works everytime....

that any help,.....see,...i replied....

What is the problem that you are trying to cure ? And i agree no point in spending 70 quid if its not going to fix it.

It's nothing to do with having a cossie or not as plently of people have other cars and get replies. Think it's just that people seem to know more about older or more popular cars as these are the cars that get the most DIY work done on them.

tbh i have a Petrol mondeo as a day to day driver and i wouldnt expect much of an answer on here if i had a problem with it, as yes most people own cossies/rs's so they know more about them.

Are you registered on the mondeo boards ? http://www.fordmondeo.org/

I assumed by your original comment that you were wanting to explain the symptoms and see if anyone knew if this was the cause of the problems.

No it will not work as the earlier mondeo relies on a speed signal from the vss directed to the PCM and the later relies on a signal produced from the N.S.R. wheel sensor directed via your A.B.S. module to P.C.M.

So your left with a new dilemer DO U REFIT THE 5 SPEED or do you try and sort the signal issues from the wheel sensor to convert it to the pcm ?

Hope that answeres your question .

Regards Doug .
