Default zetec tacho???

wheres it at?? ive tryed takin a feed from one of the green wires to the ign. module but it only runs on 2 cylinders if u earth it to me tacho??

i was thinkin maybe i need to run it from an alt. feed??

help!!

cant remeber but sure theres 2 green wires lol , 2+2 =4 so u should have it reading all for cylinders if you can find the other green wire

if youre running the edis unit, there will be a green wire that comes off the back of the edis plug, wire that to your tacho and viola.

if youre running mondeo managment, some of them have an internal edis or something, so the wire will come from the back of the ecu.

yeah thast wat i thot but in ecffect ur shorting the ign circuit doin that, and she cuts out!!

xr-stu il go check wiring at edis unit think ive tried that before aswell but will make sure!!

Depends what management you're running - i know on the EEC V management used on the Focus's, the signal wire to the clocks needs 'decoding' and the signal splitting - you can buy something to split the signal from OMEX Technologies for fitting aftermarket tacho's etc.

im running a silvertop 1800 from a k plate orion on edis system.

no ecu just minimal wiring.

im stuck
