Rich,
Yet, he ruined the car's handling and spent the whole of that weekend high as a kite .
I think it was 8:27, but don't hold me to it

I remember him dragging himself all the way there then just pissing it up and not actually doing ANY laps at all

Yeah, he's a bit of a liability.

I still crack up everytime I picture Stockton trying to converse with a total stranger in some half grabled Franco-German lingo

I was fluent in German that night!

I remember bending a road sign with my bare hands, uprooting a load of roadside reflector poles and laying them carefully along the white lines... then it's a blur of Porkie nailing Martin in a running race and me trying to goad PON into dousing the sleeping Gaybird with cold water

Oh happy days

Mike - ME remember anything? It was PON who had to stop to be sick on the way home... All I needed was porn mags to sort me out!

Yes, but that was all your fault! We drank FAR too much that night. Didn't you hide the road sign under Mike's car?

... and all the way home, you kept saying "I need grot"

It got stashed in the hotel garage as I recall. So yeah, underneath Mike's car as that was stashed there too after his encounter with the armco

I hope it doesn't come to that (me coming in Seicento) but it is possible. I'm just sorting some suspention and exhaust for it to have such an option. It would probably be in 5th most of the time

My polish is not so good (read non-existent!), but is that a Fiat 126 on the front page?

Neil S not at all. I have Seicento because for ma mate/mechanic it's best known car and he can fix it with eyes close while eating breakfest using hammer only, after working on them for years in motorsport.

It's terribly balanced (80% weight on the front?!?), understeers like hell, oversteers for no reason with no recovery possible, sounds like lawnmover, brakes all the time but it's cheap as chips and made in Poland so parts avalible no probs and there are milions of them. It's also pretty scary when you size of front brakes and know that it can do about 180km/h on special stage (or The Ring ).

Mine is even black and has leather interior that weights about half a ton.... Every salesman in his Seicento Van kills me from traffic lights

I was expecting someone to say he'd ended up as mince in a car wreck!

I have an awesome pic of him and his Scoob at Donnington - He's looking a bit miffed at the damage to the Scoob after it had a fisticuffs session with the barriers!

Check the front brakes!

Still posts intermittantly as "Stef" on Scoobynet. That second vid from outside is one of my alltime favourite clips Huge bravery.

Stef's full lap (8:37 BTG) used to be on Joerund Seim's site. So a search will probably find that.**

If anybody else is interested Felsteads site still has videos on it, and hes a pretty handy driver.

EDIT

** Yes it is

Was that a pic the time when he had an off at Cranar Curves? Into the wall ? Have you still got the pic? Any chance of a copy as I was nearest the wall?
