Not running a dump valve (although at 15 psi I wouldn't have thought this would be a huge issue.)
Low oil pressure (very unlikely as it ran 50psi most of the day, 20 at hot idle, also oil feed pipe is new, and still flowing freely after i took turbo off - we suspected a blocked feed or return, checked it but seems all clear)
My shite luck (very likely, if something can break on a Cossie I've broken it)
Jinxed turbo as this is the third one I seem to have killed, 2 while not thrashing it, and one while caning it (so can understand why 1 may have died but not the other 2 )
I'll go with the luck option myself.... remove driver and remove problem!
Cheers

Today I have been mainly faffing around doing all the little stuff like making a start on the packing, finding my E111, ditto with the Passport, Extending my RAC cover, checking my insurance cover (see my other post about this major problem area). Oil and filter have been changed to Mobil 1 15/50 now running in is pretty much completed.
Sketch's turbo is now on my car, however I haven't run it up yet (tomorrow AM's job.) :
The postman brought me some 400lb springs for my coilovers to replace the standard AVO issue 300lb versions:
He also brought (what a nice bloke) some alloy eccentric top mounts (which I'll prob fit after the Ring now given I have 2 days to go!) to arse around with the camber and caster:
And a compression strut kit to do away with the anti roll bar and allow me to play with the caster angles:
Hopefully as soon as they are in stock some adjustable TCAs will also soon be in place. Just got to find someone in the South West to set it all up properly.
I also changed the pads on my Comp brakes as a year of track days had taken it's toll on the old ones:
Last mod was to fit these mega bling trick wheels to my car (as the Comp MOs and R888s are riding in the back of the car for track abuse only!) Alessio multispokes with Yoko A520 tyres :
So things are moving on, though would be happier if I knew 100% that it was all working. The dead turbo has ruined the happy feeling following a mad week of progress!
What will break next?

Thanks Rich - didn't know that but will bare that in mind... Cheltneham isn't too far away if I can't find a rally prep company somewhere in Somerset.
BillyCabrio... not deep enough! Spent a LOT more than planned, and it still isn't 100%. I haven't totalled it all up yet, and I don't think I'm going to either!

Something else has broken
Can't say what due to respect for the supplier and to give them a chance to investigate, but safe to say I'll be spending at least Ł500 sorting it all out.
Have spent the afternoon removing the offending item, and have borrowed a spare from a VERY good friend. I owe him big time, Bevvies on me this weekend He'll remain unnamed, but he knows who he is, and he is Passionforder - thank f@#k for this place
Just in the process of fitting the new item, and will be roadtesting shortly - praying soemthing else don't break. I'm still running the car in, and have to bed the pads in, so I'm not even giving it 70% throttle yet....
What a flipping nightmare - reading everyone's posts about getting Euros etc is kinda depressing as I still don't know if the car will get me out of my home town yet
Fingers crossed

Been reading/following this all week... absolutely fookin top marks Simon, takes a lot of 'do' factor to get it all together in the time you've had. I sincerely hope your car makes it on time, I've had a bet with myself it will, Good Luck

Will try and update this post as the weekend progresses
Fingers crossed everything stays bolted on, and thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement and support!
