I love seeing engines like this. The fact that its got over 100bhp more than mine has at peak and at 4000 rpm makes me chuckle. Mental

If you have 30psi+ and less than 400 bhp, it just means your engine is strangled somewhere, lol

I meant held, but it wasnt a specific exact figure, just an example of an engine that could make much more peak power (assuming that is what you are aiming for) if there was less restriction to it.

Some engines are designed to make their Power at Higher Boost to mazimise Torque make it more drivable, Mine for instance. Mark can give me up to 800bhp on my Turbo but the head cams wont allow it. It would also be a pile of shite to drive. Is it on a gt40 if it is will see how it compares next week.

.Your engine proves my point entirely though Rod, you car makes LOADS of torque, but the BHP is actually held back by the relatively restrictive design.
IF peak BHP was Mark's aim (which it is not) then he would not spec your engine the way he has.
By doing it Marks way you end up with more torque and less BHP than other tuners tend to get.
That doesnt change the validity of my point though mate, as i was ONLY referring to peak bhp.
Maybe i should have made that clearer and said "not as much good at high rpm as a less restrictive design would be (at the expense of less torque lower down)"
Hope that clears it up
