lol, if people dont want their jobs there are plenty of others. If you dont think you get enough money go and get a job that pays more. Its a shame the law stops employers firing the shit out of every bugger who strikes.

And all you SPUDS who would stay in Bed...

I bet you quite happily take the benefits other people have fought for...

Better working conditions, more pay...

Yeah you're all happy for that...... but you dont want to stand up and be counted.

How many posts do we get on here where people are whining..

'Oh I've got this problem at work... what shall I do.....'

'Someone said this to me at work... what should I do....'

Most people havent got a clue about the labour movement in this country and I dont mean the Labour Party, I mean working people, people who go to work every day to earn a living to support their families and the people who are ready to exploit and manipulate those people to make profits for themselves.

There is more to union membership than strikes and standing out in the cold.

But sadly thats what most of you beleive because thats whats portrayed in the media.

So those of you who work for big organisations and think you and your mates on a forum are big enough to stand up to their lawyers when they dismiss you unfairly or you have an accident at work and they offer you a paltry settlement....

Just think again.

There are alot of benefits in being in a Union, cheaper car insurance for one... Unison have all sorts of schemes going for their members... and you have the protection of the best employment lawyers in the business because thats what they do all day.

I came into work this morning, and had the pr1cks bashing on the roof of the cossy. Then had some guy shouting about boyracers on a megaphone at me, very grown up and obviously directly relevant to pensions! (I'm not in the union either...)

Well said that man.

So many free loaders in this country happy to sit there taking the mick but then happy to come crying for help when they don't get their own way.

As an employer it makes me sick knowing there are so many bone idle 'workers' out there looking at every chance to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I feel pretty bad for some of the staff who run the office building I work in, I chatted to one who said he didn't want to strike because he needed the money so much.

We had a pay dispute at work last year, which being a union member, I voted on and eventually came to agreeing terms with the company. I Stood up then and would again, not all disputes go to the extremes of going on strike, some of us understand compromise

If it did come to going on strike for any reason, I dont think standing out in the street holding banners adds much to the compaign. Not turning up to work on mass has far more power and would cost the company dearly, thus I would stay in bed for the day

But standing down on the cost waving banners and shouting down loud speakers whilst they invaded would have stopped them dead in their tracks?!?!?!?!
