Injector clip wires, advice please!
On my Saff, the 2 wires going to one of the injector clips has become partly bare wire. (Plastic casing worn away)
This seems to have caused a slight mis-fire (only some of the time) when you drive down the road. Obviously the strands of wire come apart freely and not making a good enough connection. Will it be ok if I solder all the bare wires together, so there's a good tight solid connection, and tape it up?
I REALLY don't want to buy a new loom or anything
Is there any way I can cut the wire back, strip it off, and re-connect it into the terminal in the injector clip? (I.e a fresh start with the 2 wires going into that injector clip) As from what I can see of it you can't?
Cheers for any help
