Default [SORTED] WAP BUG, PLEASE CAN PET FIX IT!

I keep on asking about this but it seems to fall of deaf ears, any chance Pet could sort out the WAP thread index bug, me thinks he's got his SQL a little wrong.

Was using it again today and ended up having to use the full version on the phone due to the missing threads, such a cool feature but makes it almost useless IMO with this bug......

Seems to be threads with large number of reply's that don't appear in the index!!

This must be the fourth times I have asked now.....

Cheers,

Dan

this is not a bug at all mate, i made it so that large threads simply don't show, cause it would be too long to load on a mobile phone... it's not a bug or a SQL prob, on the contrary it's something i intended to do like this

Wounder, can't see a problem as the thread is broken down in pages anyway. Does it really cause a problem ?

Seems to defeat the object of WAP IMO, the main reason I have a look at the passionford WAP is to see how the interesting threads are going which are normally large threads...

that how it is, would be so cool if pet could make so your could post reply's and create threads, I would probably used the site on the PC like this then as it's so much quicker, would be fooking cool for modems users as well!!!LOL

it is but is even faster on the WAP plus I like the way thread text wraps around. With WAP I don't have to have the window full screen on my PC to see al the text, perfect for work

I use the WAP site just to browse, but if you feel the need to post, install the OPERA browser on your phone and you can do most things that your home pc does

a cool bit of kit IMO

http://www.opera.com/

With Opera, you can use ANY url too

Nice one Pet, i prefer browsing the WAP site on my PC too, no signatures etc, much cleaner and faster! Much better for at work anyway!
