Default Quick flamer kit question

Not here for a flaming session excuse the pun, but

When installing a flame kit is it possible to mount the spark plug before the rear box out of sight or will this damage the internals of the box?

You could however it would wreck the baffles in the tailpipe in no time!

I thought that but theyre not baffles as such, just a perforated tube with packing around it isnt it ?
