Default Tyre help

I`m about to buy a set of 7x16 ins speedline wheels and want to know if running 225 wide tyres is too much for them (will be used on road and track) if they are then i will have to get rid of the 6 x 225 tyres i have

I had them for my 8x16 wheels which i now cant use
