Chip said no one would fall for that so i thought thats a challenge then.
Obviously the more knowledgeable guys were not ging to be sucked in, but i had a few going .
I have more than enough probs trying to cope with 900 odd horse, they fill the field dont want any more getting in or they will break the fence again.

i did post that i hadn't read all the posts! either way why is 2 turbo's such a nonse , is it cus it can't be done ? No . its just not been done thats all , christ there was a 4 turbo 4 pot evo engine at autosport !

There is no point.
We appear to have found the limit of even the Mountune Block at 900ish so any more is going to be a one run grenade engine & what point is that.
My proud boast is that i drive it on the streets, turn up, run & drive home.
I can honestly say i dont want or need more Power. .

You can go even madder you can fit a twin turbo v8 engine in your engine bay that will be good for a easy 1000+hp that really will be a beast.

We have discussed this & my engine is not suitable being optimised for Petrol. Cars like the RC Evo have been built to Optimise Methanol.
Does that Vaxhall engine go 20k between major re-builds, which is what I would expect from mine @ 700bhp. I will leave those huge figures to the Drag boys & be content with a car that can out acclerate a Macca 1 & not fall too short of Veyron in-gear.

Rod wants to go FAST and push the barriers of topspeed stuff. He builds his cars to do that. Bits go on to his saff to make it go fast and be reliable. Everything has a purpose. He doesn't put bits on because 'he can' you donut.

Also as Rod said do you think the 1200bhp Drag engines last?!?!?!? They get used at full power for seconds!!!!
I hate to think how long Rods engine gets held FLAT out for!!!!

I don't think many people can slate you for not pushing any harder, you've beaten what most supercars are designed to do in a 15 year old Sierra with a 4 pot engine. Most 100k supercars can just about do that with state of the art aerodynamics and V8-12 engines. Nuff respect going Rod's way without needing to push it any harder and turn it into a track only car.
End of the day he has showed what a fucking good engine the YB is and how much it can be developed and pushed to the limit without giving in. I dare say those running over 1000hp in a 4 pot engine cannot drive to or from the track like Rod does.. So take your head out of your vuaxhall arse and realise that this car is one of a kind.
