Driving license renewal - daft
If you've lost JUST the photo bit of your license, you need to go through the whole grief of getting a form from the post office, filling it in, sending that off with your paper bit, then they'll give you a new one. £19 cost too 
However, if you've lost both bits, you can phone up with your credit card and a new one will be sent next day.
How stupid is that??
