A basic dashboard costs around the £3-400 mark.
It is an electrostatic process, and then the fur part is stuck to the dash in the form of a type of spray then left to harden.
Basically it is there to prevent glare from the sun, that normally shines off the dashboard.

someone on here used this stuff with good results http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8388
cant remember who it was though. think you paint the part in a glue like stuff then put the flocking stuff in a bottle & blow it on. there was a post with pictured instructions , but dont know where.

Not massively keen on the flocking, I must admit.. Seen a few dashes that have been trimmed entirely with alcantara and I think it looks much better
But then again, seen other alcantara dashes that don't look so hot, lol....
