I'm off to Brunters on tues to help a mate who has been invited on a thrash day.

I have a couple of questions:

For the top speed runs should I up his tyre pressures? If so, what to and what are the reasons for doing it??

Is there any where there that i could plug my laptop in to re charge? Can't get the USB / serial converer to work on the new one so will have to make do with old one and its knackered battery We have some high octaine fuel for the day so might get there early and have a bit of a re-map. Going for a bit of a record so may as well pull all the stops out!

I have heard there is a cafe there? Whats their fried brekkies like!!

Depends if you've dropped them low for traction on 0-60's 1/4 mile etc. I did my top spped run at 14 psi on the fronts. I only did 145-odd but with that pressure its a tad unstable. I would think there is no need to go above the normal pressure.

For laptop power, dont you have an invertor for powering it in car from the cars battery?

I couldnt map my car without it as the battery lasts 2 mins on the laptop!

as sketch said...get a power invertor for the car...will only cost about Ł30-40

Use 40psi in the tyres for Topspeed & as thin as possible tyres also to reduce tyre drag.
