I know exactly what you mean!!

I'm in the middle of doing my bike licence and I went for my theory last week. £20 to sit in a room full of 17 year olds and then answer the simplest driving questions know to man 6 years of driving experiance basically doesn't count for anything!!

Hardeep....I'm paying £385 for a 3 day direct access course [includes CBT, theory and practical tests + bike hire etc....]

I'm doing it here:

You'll find they're all pretty similar though

I've recently bought myself this:

HI,

I did a direct access one to one course in 1998, as i had a full
car licence i did'nt have to do the theory, only cbt, so lucky i guess .
IF YOU NOW have to do the theory.

Lee you'll love it mate, you'll finally see why a bike is so much more fun than a car, even if its not as fast ni certain circumstances.

CBT DONE

Was cool to get out on the bike, and TBH i personally think i rode quite well considering. A bit wobbly on the U turn, hill start a tad wobbly but overall it went well. Theory test next then an assessment to see how many days it will take...

Costings

CBT 80
Theory 20
Test 55
Depending on training days be about 450-500.....

Then theres bike, helmet, gloves, boots, leathers. Im gonna be broke
