Magazine Tech Articles... the good old days, Gone?

Its actually about turbo's, so get your wallet out.
Some of you have read a much smaller 600word essay i did on them, once on the RSBB. This is a more comprehensive 2500word one that goes into far more detail.
The next issue's article will be about Compressor maps and how to read them.
I would expect it to be in the shops on Monday/Tuesday as subscribers got them today.

TBH mate, ive not started on anything engine related yet, ive been mainly doing stuff for the TOTB team and am currently writing (with some help from a PF regular no less, lol) an article on how to drag race your road car.
The engine stuff will probably come later in the year, but its going to be more along the lines of how to's than the theory stuff (well im hoping to kind of intergrate the two really so its shows how to do things but also WHY to do thing) but its a different readership with different existing information out there, a lot of the stuff like different turbo choices that people have all known about for years in the world of cossies is still a fairly young idea for the vauxhall lads, most of them havent dont anything other than very basic bolt on tuning mods in the main.
You definately got the more technical of the two gigs, but thats probably for the best as you are the more technical of the two people
You are a fucking tough act to follow though mate, you could have at least made a few fuck ups to make my life easier, LOL

Ill be buying this. Sorry though Chip, despite the article on drag racing a road car sounding fascinating, I won't be buying Total Vauxhall, aside from anything else my fiancee wouldnt let me live it down.

my mrs is reading it at the moment
if she can understand it (as piointed out before, she's about as techincally minded as a sandwich) then it can be understood by everyone
as for myself, i read it and found that it explained lots of things that i already knew, but was unable to explain why i knew what they were or the priciples behind how they worked
