reveal the reserve price to a possable punter for an item im selling on ebay??doesnt this just make his bidding easier?

Can't see the point in 'secret' reserves personally
If someone wants the item they will bid what they want to pay regardless of the reserve price! Puts more people off having a reserve imo as i like to know that if i bid on something that i may well buy it.

hmm see your point,but the item needs to sell for this ammount or more obv! if i disclose the reserve,he could wait till the final minutes and have an advantage over blind bidders!

Agree with Spadge...whats the point in a secret reserve price?? Deffo puts me off bidding on an item!!
Surely you want to make the bidding as easy as possible?
If you tell him what the reserve is and he puts a bid in and wins it then your happy right?
