getting a morgage with adverse credit history ?????????
family friend looking at getting a morgage for the first time, but has a bit of bad credit nothing recent few small CCJ's defaults (failed business) just thought i would post see what you guys & girls advice or have you experinced simuliar suituation?,how difficult etc?
in full time employment with same employer 2 years +
early 30's
earns 17k basic
has a small deposit

i think there will always be a lender willing to take the risk ,but on a low income he wouldnt get to much,depends on house prices were you are,but the bad credit rating will get him a higher interest rate which means higher repayments.
