Well, do you know what it does and what effects it has?
Unless you got incredible traction, if anything it will make your launches worse.
Using it properly, think of it as antilag for when your at a standstill. Infact some goons in the jap car world call it antilag...

Only REASON for launch control in a turbo car IMO is to spool up the turbo on the start line, and thats the last thing you want on a traction limited rwd car like a cossie

Can understand the various comments regarding this effect on a rwd cossie tho with their lack of grip but, I thought with the launch control in use, it would aid a controlled launch by lessing the various things that need to be managed all at once when the light turns green?

seriously mate, youl be on the 2step (ie the lower rev limit the launch control will give you), the boost will rise to whatever amount (will depend on engine, what rpm the limit is, and how long you got your foot to floor) and you will lift the clutch and do one hell of a burnout
unless you got mega traction it will make it worse.
my old cossie with proper als would sit there doing a burnout even if you tried to launch in 2nd gear at santapod cause of that.
unless you got some proper traction (ie mega tyres and decent geometry, or 4wd) its a nightmare.
fun mind!
but performance wise, nah, not on your average modded 3dr cossie.

hmm dont think i'll bother then if its only good for warming up your tyres lol My cossie is just an average modded 3dr...high end stage3-low end stage4 tune with coil overs and polybushes, braces and cage and compression struts...nothing ott tbh.
