Saw a few cars sat round a roundabout today and they had Traffic Census stickers in the windows....I have seen this alot.

must be looking to build a shopping complex or sumthing in that area or something that will see a big rise in traffic i think and try to see what the affect would be.i know someone who had to get one done when he was selling land as the person buying it wouldnt buy land without it cost him 35k for them drinking tea

 

Quite simply they count the cars vans and lorries that use the road. This can be done in either or both directions and count all vehicles or break them down into lorries vans cars and coaches.

 

allways get them at lakeside shopping centre and there aint room to add anything new?

 

Wait till you hear about the 85 percentile rule that councils and planner use for when they measure the speed of cars on a road I nearly fell over when my boss explained it to me

 

i dunno maybe looking to change the road if the traffic builds up there?
