Default Cossie Transplant Question

Does anyone have any pictures of the Redline BMW/Cossie engine bay?

I dunno if it’s a moment of Wednesday morning madness but I’ve got a bit bored of my (E36) 325’s power wise and miss my Cossie. I love the look and build of the beemer but want the turbo rush of a big bhp cossie again – before anyone mentions it I have thought of an M3 but I’d like something a little different with a bit more potential! The Beemer is in really good condition and I’ve spent some time and money on it which I’ll probably (read “as per usual”) never get back. Does anyone have a rough idea what sort of work I’m looking at – I assume I’ll need the T5 as the 325/M3 box will have the wrong ratios, and I’ll probably need to have some sort of modified subframe and engine mounts, along with engine management and custom exhaust. I’d assume I’ll need to change the fuel system to match the cossie lump too.

Anyone else attempted this/got any info on what needs to be done especially Redline/Renton cos I’d like to know if it would be ultimately worth the effort!

Cheers
Rob
