Tnite pc been a pain in the backside, basically every time i click summit it hangs for up to 30 seconds then carries on fine, missed a bargin on fleabay earlier as it hung on submit bid then processed it after auction ended (bid with 20 secs to go) anyone any idea whats causing it?

nope,not done anything or changed anything

 

What ISP, NTL are currently doing upgrades so service is a bit hit and miss at the moment.

It could also be any part of the network - basically, you're 'travelling' across many servers, any one of which could be causing the slow down. It could also be your PC, but then the problem would be generally more consistent.
