Thinking of swapping my Focus ST170 for a Fiesta ST

After some feedback really, I've been offered a couple of straight swaps and I'm looking for a smaller car. My 04 has done 33k and been valued around £10,500.

Do I, don't I.

I'm still pondering.

i would ..... my brother has the Fiesta ST.....it's a cracking little car! i'd imaging the focus is a bit quicker though?

I've liked the Fiesta ST's since they came out

Depends how hard you want to drive the fiesta. Personaly i dont rate them. Had mine a year and cant wait to get out of it now. Let the flaming comense

Focus ST in IMO as the fiesta ST just doesnt do it for me

10.5k is v good price tho for the focus

i drive both all the time (missis got a fiesta, old man got a focus st170)

the fiesta is alot more fun to drive!
the fiesta is faster

Standard Fiesta ST isnt any faster than the focus. They are basically same speed but top end the focus is bit quicker

as said fiesta has all alloy duratec engine, this engine has massive potential

Ive raced my friends one with manifold and full system and its basically same speed as my focus with bluefin and full system. Raced a standard one tho and like about 125 just slows down.

Just thought add i think the fiesta has gearbox probs as im sure i read performance ford fucked theirs and my mates fucked 4th gear on his one. Gotta be covered in the warrenty though i spose.

I love the duratec engine though wish id spent the extra and got for my mk3 rather than a zetec. I love the idea of the inlet at the front cause id cut the bonnet up and have throttle bodie trumpets coming straight out the front .
